Tyre Database

The eagerly awaited tyre database is now available for modders to use as a basis for your own tyres. This will be a current (up-to-date) list of tyres that we have generated for various public and private (where possible) projects. Unfortunately, we can't create tyres for every car, but we hope this will serve as a good example list and something that should cover most types of racing cars. The list will contain some tyres that are newer than public release versions, and possibly from side-projects or even as yet unreleased vehicles. If you feel like donating any tyres to the project, that is also more than welcome. If you use these tyre files, you must credit us in the description of your car mod like this: "Parts of this mod were taken from rFactor 2 and are used with the explicit permission of Studio 397. These parts remain the property of Studio 397 BV and may not be re-used for any purpose, including other mods without the explicit, written permission of Studio 397 BV. The list only includes tyres that are updated with the latest technologies, that includes what has been basically refer to as the 'CPM v2' model (with localised patch accelerations, briefly outlined in a blog). Due to the nature of the data we receive, some confidential data must be obscured and so these tyres may have tiny divergences from those that we use in our own vehicle releases. However, we always try to ensure that this has an absolute minimal impact on the overall behaviour, characteristics, and lap times that result from the use of these tyres.

Note: A "Final" status, does not necessarily mean the tyre will not be altered in some way. A final status simply means it meets criteria for deployment. Changes to 'final' tyres could be the result of new code or any other reason (such as additional data that comes to us).
